Scandinavian Honeymoon

Hello,

My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon to Scandinavia (with a little side trip to Poland). We will arrive June 29 and return home July 13. We are writing here to ask for advice about possible "honeymoon" type activities we can enjoy in this region. What are some romantic places we can visiit; activities specific for a couple? For example, if we were traveling to Paris, I would go for an evening walk with him around the backstreets of Montmartre while grabbing a glace. If we were traveling to Venice, I would take a late evening gondola ride through the quiet canals. If we were going to the Cinque Terre, we would sneak in a midnight swim in the Mediterranean. What kind of activities like this would you recommend for Scandinavia? Here is a little more information about our itinerary:

Stockholm 2 nights
Warsaw 2 nights
Copenhagen 2 nights
Aero 2 night
Oslo 2 nights
Jotunheimen Mountains 1 night
Bergen 2 nights

We appreciate any advice that can be given!

First of all I think you have too many destinations and it does not seem like you have accounted for travel time between the destinations. For most of these trips it's half a day gone getting from point a to be, including getting to your hotel, checking in and out etc. How do you plan on getting around, by car or trains and planes?
Stockholm and Copenhagen are worth at least 3 nights each and that's not including the most popular (and romantic) day trips. Only one night in the Jotunheimen mountains seems a bit redundant, since it takes quite a bit of time getting there from Oslo or Bergen. Do you plan on going hiking in the mountains? If so, then most of the day hikes take a full day, so you will need to spend at least two nights there.

Something completely different is a cruise. Since all the cities face the Baltic, and most of the cities are relatively small, it's a good option.

I think you should check out some possibilities at vacationstogo.com I like their search engine better than any other. We took a 12 night cruise out of Copenhagen (round trip) but I think there are options where you can board in one city and debark in another.

Sometimes their 90 day ticker options are much better than you could get meals, lodging and transportation elsewhere.

Brad of the cities mention by the OP, only Stockholm and Copenhagen are by the Baltic Sea. I'm not a cruise person, so I don't know the routes cruise companies use, but I doubt it is an effective way to connect these destinations.
