Wrong branch of the family. Lex was Martin Luther 's evil cousin and an avowed atheist. So evil he was banned by the family and forced to change the spelling of his name.

I do love that thread (and Reddit)! My favorite was this one:

A few years back, I was staying in a small hostel in Switzerland
recommended by Rick. One evening as the guests sat around a campfire
watching the moonrise over the Alps, someone yelled out, "RICK STEVES
IS A GOD!" and we all started cheering. One of my most treasured
memories.
