Sandals for Germany/Austria/Switzerland

Planning to take the 14-day tour and would like recos for a closed-toe sandal that would look good with skirts but would be comfortable/sturdy enough for all-day walking. Planning to wear a light hiking-style shoe for the mtns but want another packable option for town/city. Also, probably going in late August. (Will it be warm enough for sandals?) Any suggestions? Weather should be good for sandals - always possibility of rain but certainly not cold. I like Keens closed toe sandals - sturdy enough for walking, comfortable to wear without socks (so can be worn with skirts) and have a good choice of colours. They are also washable so no problems if they get wet. Admittedly not dainty but are versatile and pack flat and are not too heavy. I also like Ecco - they do a nice laced shoe, light and ideal for city walking but not a sandal.

I love love love my Naot sandals (all 7 pr of them...lol). Back when I sold shoes, they did an OK looking one with a closed toe open back - not really dressy, but a little fancier then Keens and would look good with skirts- pricey tho - but comfy. And I went to those areas in mid Sept, stupidly only took my Blundstone boots - regreted it big time - in some places, my feet were so hot I wanted to go barefoot (actually, I did at the Englishergarten in Munich).
