Hi all, We are planning to visit the Greek island of Samos after the Best of Turkey tour next year. For anyone who has been there, is there one part of the island that is best for a base for a three day stay? Interest would be hiking, beach and just relaxing after the tour. Would like some place that has restaurants that can be walked to as well. Thanks for any and all advice.

You should post this on Greece board. I was in Samos last year but it was for a conference and didn’t see much of the island.

I was on the turkey tour in oct 2002. At the end, I had a room with a great view of Samos. Finally going to Greece next october. Enjoy your trip !
