It's that time again to meet with fellow travelers to talk about --- travel!! As always, we meet the 3rd Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m. Location- Panera Bread 3571 North Freeway Blvd. Sacramento This is off I-80, using the Truxel Rd. exit.
Everyone who wants to discuss their upcoming trips, reminisce about past trips, or just hang out and talk about travel is welcome. So my question is...who plans to be there?

You're right Eileen, I won't be at the meeting. I will be in Russia. Okay, not exactly Russia. I'll be at the Russian River. Close enough. Okay, not that close to Russia. At least I'm going somewhere. I'm leaving tomorrow to make a quick trip to L.A. first. Since wifi at the river sucks so I can't Skype into the meeting I will have my own version of the KGB reporting back regarding your conversations. Don't check anyone for wires.

Well, we're home! We both had great trips. We hope to come to the meeting, but unfortunately, I came home with a bad cold. So, I'll have to see how I'm feeling tomorrow. Monte may have to work. But, who knows, we may both show up!

Susan and Monte, I'll bring a couple of those 'won't keep us from getting sick' cheapo masks that you two can wear...Susan/for germs, and Monte/just for our amusement ;-) I'm glad your trips went well! Larry and Vivian - FWIW, we travel on American Airlines to Europe from SFO, non-stop...Paris, Rome, Zurich...there's a great hotel we stay at (across the street from SFO) - they have their own shuttle, allow you to park your car there for the best price around (and believe me, I've checked!), and it's great for early flights! I'll tell y'all about it Saturday! I look forward to seeing everyone!

I just got home from the Russian River. Sorry I missed the meeting. I'm not sorry I missed the heat. We went to a Civil War reenactment on Saturday and we were cold!! No offense to my Sacramento Home Boys and Girls, but I'm just seeing that Atlanta was THE place to be on Saturday. Ed AND Ron-In-Rome? I would've paid to be there!! See you all next month. David, did you get tickets for DC yet?
