Will the Sacramento Group be meeting on Saturday, 20 November? Did we agree on a later time at the last meeting? Will we meet at the same location, or does someone have another suggestion?
Yes, 11/20 at 1:00 p.m. at the Panera Bread located at 3571 N. Freeway Blvd. in North Natomas. We can see how the later time works for the majority of us. Everyone is welcome. If anyone has any questions about our meetings, please feel free to ask.
Gosh - do we have to do this again so soon?!? OK - I'll be there. If only to make sure no one is talking about me...;-)
Kevin, thanks for posting. Again, I must miss this meeting as we are again traveling. This time, we'll be in Virginia, Gettysburg and DC. Let's see what's up for December. The highlight will be our stay and dinner at the Inn at Little Washington. As a side note, we have just booked our airline tickets into Barcelona and out of Paris. We'll be renting a car once we enter France and will drop it off in Burgundy and train in for a week in Paris. I see from earlier postings that Susan and Monte were asking questions about Burgundy. We'll be in Burgundy as well near the end of September of next year. Can't wait to talk to them.
If anyone coming to the meeting has information or a guidebook for Barcelona, could you please bring it with you? Larry, I will be flying into Barcelona the end of September 2011. I'll be interested to talk to you about your trip!
Your franchise fee is now 30 days past due.
Frank, I've got some travelers checks in here somewhere (digging around in money belt...)
Frank, are you telling me that you didn't receive our check? I'm sure we sent it...
We'll be there.....and yes Larry, we will be in Burgundy in June.
We'll miss you this time, but have fun on your trip.
Unless I have a miraculous recovery (and I'm SURE hoping for that), I'll have to miss the get-together tomorrow - apparently, I have an absolutely awful case of The Common Cold :-( I'm fairly certain that if my head explodes around any of you you'll probably be sick, too, for Thanksgiving. And I don't want all of you on my front lawn in 2 weeks with torches and pitchforks...carrying wads of Kleenex... I thought about trying to Skype...not gonna happen. I look like death warmed over. And yes, that's worse than I usually look. Shocking. In case I'm out of contact for the next week - be sure and watch Texas A&M beat Texas on Thanksgiving eve...WHOOP!!! (don't talk about me - I'll have spies...)
Eileen....noooo....it won't be the same without you. On the other hand, no one wants to get sick. We can Skype with no picture can't we? I hope you feel better soon. If anyone says anything bad about you I will pass that information on. For a price of course. I can be bought. My loyalty goes to the highest bidder. ;-) I'll try to get there a little early tomorrow to save a place. See y'all then. Did you like the y'all? That was for you Eileen.
"If anyone says anything bad about you I will pass that information on. For a price of course. I can be bought. My loyalty goes to the highest bidder. ;-)" I still have those travelers checks ;-). I expect a full report of the meeting. I hope 'y'all' (not 'you guys' and CERTAINLY not 'youse' LOL!) have a good time today - I'm going to have a better time since I remembered that bottle of codeine last night...had a MUCH better night!!! Be careful in this weather.
Traveler's checks will not cut it. Sorry. You must come up with something better than that!
OK - I'll drag my virus-riddled body into the nearest Wells Fargo next week and cash in those travelers checks for Euro. Picky, I tell you.
In the RS spirit, you can just hand over your ATM card Eileen.
Don't forget your PIN!
OK - how about if I get a French person to 'help' me at the ATM?!? (then I can start a thread on how I got ripped-off at the ATM) Considering what you'll get with MY ATM card, perhaps you'd prefer to stay with the travelers checks ;-)
