Sacramento Area Travel Meeting - Saturday 9/15 @ 10:00 a.m.

As we do each month, we will be meeting the third Saturday to talk travel. Location - Panera Bread
3571 N. Freeway Blvd., Sacramento This is in North Natomas, off I-80 at the Truxel exit. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come to ask questions, give advice, or just talk about where you have been and where you want to go. So my question is - Who will be there?

I mentioned last month that while in LA over the Labor Day weekend I was planning to go shopping at the Magellan's travel store in Santa Monica. I did go as planned. The good news, they had a sale going on. The bad news, the store stocks only a fraction of what is available through their catalog or online. I walked out empty handed. I had to console myself with a trip to the beach.

Oh, I HATE when that happens!!! Especially when it's a long-awaited trip :-( I'll be at Panera...by myself?!?

Sadly, we will miss it again. Last month we were out having fun, not so much this time. Our daughter is having surgery Sept 10th and will be hospitalized for a few days, and she will need her mommy to take care of her for awhile. Hope to make it in October!

We also will have to miss the Sacramento meeting since we can't miss the Moscow meeting! Maybe we can try for next year.

Seems like it's pretty quiet in the Sacramento area too!

Unfortunately I am in Texas for a couple of weeks, so I won't be there either. I should clarify, it is both unfortunate to be in Texas AND to miss the meeting.

Andrea, I think you are fortunate that one particular Texan is in California while you are in Texas!

True Karen, but that person is flying TO Texas the same day I fly home. I guess Texas isn't big enough for the both of us!! ;-)

Wow, Karen AND Andrea. I'm crushed. Totally ;-) Larry and I will have a grand ol' time by ourselves.

Kevin usually just shows up, so that is at least 3. If anyone would like to buy me an airline ticket I can fly back for the day. One less day in GBC. Eileen knows where I'm talking about... ;-)
