Doe the RS Convertible a Carry-on on Ryan Air? It looks like it is just a few cm too long? Ryan Air's website lists cabin luggage allowable is 55cm x 40cm x 20cm. I am measuring the length of RS as closer to 60 cm. Has anyone carried this bag on Ryan Air?
That backpack is completely soft-sided, so if you haven't stuffed it too full, you should be able to fit it into the measuring box, if they ask you. Check whether Ryan Air also has a weight limit for carry-on. And note that one means one, so any purse or daybag has to go into your other bag.
Actually, Ryan Air now allows another smaller personal bag as carry-on. I think I read this change happened around April from Ryan Air: "One cabin bag weighing up to 10 kg with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, plus 1 small bag up to 35 x 20 x 20 cms may be carried per passenger*."
I know the dimensions, I was just curious if anyone had actual experience carrying it on Ryan Air. For a family of 4 I was hoping to avoid some extra fees.
