What do you know about RV travel in europe?

Do be aware to check licensing issues when renting larger vans and RV's for Germany. If you want too large of a vehicle, your regular driving license may not be valid for it. So, check it out before you get over there. Someone over on TA has just had this problem and though they thought their license was going to be valid, once they got there, they were turned down. Messed up their whole trip, big time.
