My wife and I are planning to rent an RV in Germany and spend 2 plus months touring europe with stops for genealogy stops in Breshia, Italy and Alsae France. Anyone out there with RVing experience in europe. We are experienced tent campers, sometimes RVers, and Motorcycle tourers.

Our family rented a VW California camoervan from DRM in Germany in 2001 and 2004, and visited Germany (duh), France, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and the Republique de Saugeais (not kidding: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_Saugeais. The California is not exactly an RV, but if I can help with any questions, fire away. BTW, I am a motorcyclist too, and this year we'll be tent-camping and driving a leased Renault through France, N. Italy, Austria, and S. Germany.
