rome/ where to leave luggage while traveling

We will be arriving in Rome and going on to Tuscany for three days before we board a 21 day cruise beginning back in Rome. We would like to know if anyone has any ideas as to where we can leave most of our luggage, or has anyone done this before? Thanks

if you're spending a nite or more in Rome, check with your hotel when you're making reservations and see if they'd store it for you; pick a hotel that will.
