My husband and I with two adult children will be in Rome from Wednesday before Easter through Easter Monday. I have tickets to Scavi. What else should we plan to reserve? Any hints for Rome during this time?

Nothing shuts down in Rome on Easter Sunday if you're in the tourist zone. Buy RSEs Rome guidebook (not his Pocket guide) and take his self-guided walking tours. I recommend sleeping in Trastevere (trahs-TAY-veh-ray) and do not miss visiting the Piazza del Popola, Rome's oldest square. You also want to spend one day in Vatican City and see the exterior of the Colossuem at night. Make sure you check out the Pantheon too.
