Can someone recommend a river cruise company that doesn't exclusively cater to American passengers? We're looking for a cruise in Holland/Germany. Any recs would be appreciated.
Thanks!
CroisiEurope caters to the French market, although they also sell to Brits. They have many different river cruises available, and their prices are less than those that cater to Americans (but they are also not considered a luxury line). They are generally well-reviewed and rated, although I must say that I don't personally know anyone who has taken one of their cruises. You need to be comfortable with a cruise where the others don't speak English. I believe you need to have a minimum number of English speakers for them to offer excursions in English.
I went on a Viking River Cruise last year and Americans were the minority. More of the passengers were from Canada, Great Britain, or Australia.
