Does anyone know the average cost to dine at La Bucaccina in Cortona Italy? I've heard it is wonderful but wonder if it is expensive. Any other restaurant recommendations?
Trattoria La Grotto and Pizzaria Fufluns. La Grotto is in an alley just off the main pedestrian street of Cortona, and Fufluns is at the very end of it near the city hall building... (corrected name spelling 4-19)
Thanks Kent and BG. I will look into these.
I'm going there in September with my husband.
If you think of any other information about the area you would like to share I would love to hear it. Thanks again!
Google Eurobimbo, Tania and Keith are Californians who have moved to Cortona to live. Her blog is wonderful and has a lot of information about Cortona.
Last year when we in Italy, my husband ate at La Buccacia (I think that is the spelling) and said it was wonderful. I didn't make it because I met my sister in Venice that weekend.
We are going back this October and we plan to eat there.
I think a previous poster is refering to La Grotta, which a wonderful restaurant. Most of the places there are really good. I also like Trattoria Dardano.
Osteria del Teatro, listed in the Michelin guide.
