In my neverending quest to pack light !!!! I took two of these locks out of the packaging and threw it away. NOW, of course, I have no idea how to set the combinations. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Hi Carol. Here are the instructions from the packaging... 1. Hold the lock so you are viewing the side that has a vertical line running through the middle of the numbers. While leaving the shackle in the locked position, turn the dials to 0-0-0. 2. Use a sharp object (pen or paper clip) to push the bottom reset button all the way in, and hold it in while setting the dials to your desired combination. Do not let go of the reset button while setting the dials! 3. Once you release the reset button, your lock is ready to open using your personal combination. 4. To open your lock, dial the combination. The cable will automatically spring open when you push the big release button on the side. Hope that helps!

Carol, The detailed instructions provided by Eric are excellent. I usually travel with several of Rick's FlexiLocks mostly on my carry-on items, and find them really useful. I usually leave them unlocked prior to security, as it's so easy just to press the button rather than having to dial a combination. Once I'm through security, I "spin the dials" to lock them. Cheers!
