I have noticed that the new edition of the Rick Steves' Amsterdam, Bruges & Brussels on the RS website for his guidebooks lists Ghent and Antwerp. But on the link for product detail info does not list the towns. I have gone to the 2 bookstores here in St Pete, and none of them have the new edition. So my question is this: is there anyone who has bought the new guidebook (edition 8) that can tell me if Rick has added Ghent and Antwerp to the new book? Is it just a shout out or actual info with accommodations, eateries, sights, etc?

The new edition with Ghent and Antwerp is sold at this site and Amazon.com. I have a copy of it and it does include full chapters of the two cities. It was released in mid-May.

Thanks for the heads up. I wanted to know this info before I went on to buy a copy, as it looks like I would have to do it online since my local stores did not have the up to date edition.

Kelly, is there a AAA office near you? My local (small!) office has a lot of Rick Steves stuff, roller bags, accessories and most of his guide books!

Hi Kelly I have downloaded the new book to my Ipad and yes it does give info on eating and lodging in Ghent and Antwerp. Also some info on these two for shopping, site seeing and tours.

"But on the link for product detail info does not list the towns." Apparently, the copy for Amazon's 'Search Inside' feature is an old one, too; it doesn't mention those two towns in either the TofC, nor the index...so it's good to have people on the Helpline to help us!
