Rick's Itinerary on Word doc template

I use an excel spreadsheet, but same concept I stole from Rick's Travel Planning video.
And I thought you were from Houston.

Are there oilers in houston too?

Like Sam, I find it a lot easier to manage tables on an Excel spreadsheet than on Word. I use Word docs for general notes and anything else that is mostly text. I've never seen what Rick uses. If you PM me with your email, I'll send you one of my Excel trip docs. You do need to have a basic knowledge of Excel spreadsheets to use it efficiently.

I would first look at all the templates available in your own version of Word...you may be surprised how good some of them are. Also, you can insert a table into any Word doc (and even hide the rows and columns afterward if you don't want them to be visible). I adapt a calendar (in Word) to put all my activities in, but use Excel for anything that requires budgeting, manipulating numbers, or sorting.
