We just finished the Vernazza to Monterossa trail this morning and my wife swears she saw Rick as we arrived in Monterossa. Can anyone confirm?

Sorry, Mike. If you mean today, 5/24, then she probably was having flashbacks. Let's say, "the sense of history is strong there." The blog posts are delayed by a couple of days, so Rick has actually moved on.

LOL. We puffed up to that church and the nearby cemetery some years ago - not another tourist in sight - and I did notice the camera! Nope, didn't wave. One of its paintings is thought to be a Van Dyck.
