Hello All, I am considering the Veloche Shoulder bag to use with a MacBook Air. The computer is less than 12 inches long and weighs less than 2.5 lbs. Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

**You're probably already aware that RS bags on this website are on sale through 8/05/12...! I'm not sure what you're asking - the two larger Veloce bags will physically fit your computer, and both have padded laptop/tablet compartments. I've gotten my iPad in its neoprene case into the pocket in my Veloce iPad case (middle size of the three Veloce bags), although it was a bit snug. For a better look at the bag, try looking at the photos on the eBags website; they always have lots of photos of their products. If you want a sturdy bag that might get thrown around alot, you should probably look elsewhere...maybe a bag with the computer compartment in the center of the bag would be better. But if you're fairly careful with your bag, you'll probably be happy with one of the Veloce bags. FWIW, I've carried the Veloce Shoulder Bag on European trips, and was very happy with its performance!

Hello Eileen Thank you for your response. I was recently on a RS tour and our guide had the Veloche shoulder bag, and I loved the way it looked. Since I was going to order it anyway, I was curious about other persons experiences using it to carry a laptop. I never considered looking on the ebags.com website. Thank you for that suggestion. I did notice that the bags are 20% off this week. I bought the Convertible Carry on bag last Christmas and I love it. I am going to order both the Veloche shoulder bag and the Appenzell day bag.
