Ricardo Luggage

I have just bought a bee-oo-tee-ful burnt orange carry on from Ricardo Luggage, it's going to France & Czech in September! I have never heard of the brand until I saw it, does anyone have one? Any bricks or bouquets? It seems very well made, size is perfect, lots of pockets etc.

My husband and I have been using the Ricardo (funny, we call it that too) backpack convertible carry ons for our last 4 - 5 trips. They've been working well so far. We just bought the packing cubes but have yet to give them a trial run. Happy travels to you.

Thank you JER, bluedenim & Matti!
Fabulous ... I'm even happier now that I scooped it.
This one is on rollers, not sure how much I'll use them but I like having the option.

Back in the days that I used wheeled luggage, I had a carry-on sized bag from Ricardo that I liked a lot. It was well made and sturdy, though a bit heavy. Eventually the zipper broke and so it got retired in favor of a lighter weight Eagle Creek rollaboard.

Now I swear by non-rolling luggage, so I haven't checked out Ricardo in about the last ten years to see if they've maintained their quality. But my experience with their product ten years or so ago suggests that you will be happy with your purchase.

We have 3 Ricardo bags, all with wheels, and they have served us well through four trips to Europe. Our opinion is that the luggage is very well made, with lots of innovative pockets.

The latest Costco magazine says they are now selling a 21" Ricardo - 30% lighter than most suitcases in their warehouse only.
