This is our first trip to Rhodes, Greece. Our daughter is getting married. I can’t decide if we should try to explore Lindos and Old Town on our own or schedule a full day bus tour that includes both. It will be in August.
Any suggestions? Our hotel is in faliraki.

If you go on your own, Lindos will pretty much fill a day. The walk up to the Acropolis is steep and rocky in many places. The old town of Rhodes is full of interesting sights, including some small, but interesting remnants of its past Jewish and Muslim inhabitants. A one-day tour which takes you to both places is likely to be superficial. I recommend sticking to Rhodes town.
