When I first started coming to this board, I thought it was a great resource to gather information from people who have experience when traveling in Europe.
However, it seems, many people take offense if others want to travel differently than they do. If they disagree, they don't show respect, they attack.
Answer the main question asked, not attack others because they do things differently than you.
Not everyone is going to carry the same bag. Not everyone is going to fly the same airline. Not everyone wants to travel light. And so on. That is their choice.
I've read posts where the poster said: I have to travel in August, I have a bad back so I need wheels, and I won't be traveling by air in Europe.
Undoubedtly, response will be: Don't travel in August, go in September. Wheels are not good because European cheapo airlines doesn't allow any bag over 2 pounds; or my airline doesn't allow weight over 6 pounds and wheel bags are too heavy.
Now, do any of these responses really help. Read the questions, folks.
But that's what we've become. Instead of starting arguments, give information. And respect others rights to travel the way they wish.
No one here is the ultimate expert.
