Hi!
Our family of 3 (2 adults and a toddler) are traveling from London ->Paris - > ? -> Germany. We are looking for our 3rd stop in that trip. We originally wanted a resort/beach stop within the itinerary but are finding that, geographically, we would be going way out of our way to make that happen. Our goal at this point is to add a stop in between Paris and Germany where we can enjoy a resort style pool, some pretty views and some downtime. Any suggestions are appreciated!
Where you’re going is not an area with hot weather so you won’t really find the inland equivalent of a beach resort anywhere. My first thought was Center Parcs. These are outdoor/nature focussed holiday parks and they all have a ‘subtropical’ swimming pool complex. They’re found in many places in Europe and are very popular with families with kids.
Maybe Aquaparc in the Valais region of Switzerland:
Where in Germany? Makes a big difference regarding what's out if the way or not ...
Also public transit or car?
Lastly approximately how long? Day trip stopover? Long weekend?
