We have made numerous reservations at hotels by email, with confirmations from the hotels and of our visa deposits. Do we also need to send faxes? Rick says faxes are needed to confirm, but I'm hoping a printed email from the hotel is adquate. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!
E-mail is fine. Faxes are becoming obsolete.
E-mail should be fine -- just bring it with you to show the hotel if there is a dispute. You might want to reconfirm shortly before your arrival.
Email is the way to go. And it is more secure. I have scrapped by fax machine.
I work with computers but I have no idea how to send a paper fax. I took copies of my email confirmations and they were good enough.
