Reminder---Seattle/Puget Sound area meeting Sept. 15

Just a reminder that we will have a meeting of the intermittently-active Puget Sound area RS group on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 10 am in Edmonds, at the Rick Steves store. If you have never been there, this is a great time to visit and see all they have to offer. We will meet at a table in the library area-look for my Swiss flag marking the table. And remember, we will have a special guest from Colorado. If we run out of Europe topics I would be happy to answer questions about Alaska travel and activities. We just returned from a fantastic trip last night. Hope to see some of you from Kitsap County there, as the RS store is an easy walk up from the Kingston-Edmonds ferry.

Lola, looking forward to the meeting. I loved the Kenai area in Alaska. Linda

Have you thought about holding this 'special guest from Colorado' for ransom? You could probably get a dual-voltage hair dryer and some packing cubes for him. Go through your travel supplies and see what you'd like to have, then approach the Colorado peeps with your demands. Good luck!

Lola, If I ever happen to be in Seattle at "meeting time", I'll certainly attend also. Although there's no Panera Bread franchise in the vicinity, the Edmonds Bakery is just around the corner so at least some Pastries and coffee will be possible. I'm sure your guest from Colorado will enjoy meeting the group. Cheers!

Ransom! Now I am really sorry I can't make it. I'd say he is worth an iPad at least!

As for Panera, as I've said before, there is nothing special about the group meeting at Panera, except that they have free Wifi, and I gather that ETBD has it too. It looks like there might be a Panera between my motel and Edmonds. If there is, I plan to stop and pick up a bagel for anyone who gives me an RSVP.

That is a nice offer, Lee, but I'm "gluten-free" so no bagels for me.
