Does anybody have recommendations for a relaxed beach town in Spain (Mediterranean side, near or north of Valencia)? Our family is traveling in Europe for 3 months by car; currently in the French Pyrenees. We want to head to the sea. It is school vacation time in France, so good places to rent are mostly taken. Thought about Cinque Terre, Italy, but the weather forecast for the upcoming week looks to be on the cooler side; seems a lot warmer near Valencia, Spain so we are considering going that way. The water temperatures look fine in both Spain and Italy. We are looking for a place with natural beauty, nice swimming, and a mellow vibe. Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jon

P.S. My wife just learned two things:
1. She heard that the snorkeling, which we love, in the Costa Brava area is really good. Can anybody comment on this?
2. She also is learning that quiet and quaint beach towns near Valencia do not exist (or are hard to find).
Hence, we are now considering a Costa Brava location. Any thoughts on any of this are appreciated. Thanks!
