Can someone recommend somewhere in the Cleveland, OH area to convert Euros back into US Dollars? I will not be using them again. The airport has a currency post but I am uncertain if they buy back Euros.
Banks don't do it here anymore and I am unsure whether AAA does or not.
Help! and Thanks!
You best bet is to sell them to someone else going to Europe. IF you can find a local buy back you will probably loose 10% in the deal. Post on Craig list or leave a note here. Leave you name and amount available with local travel agents. Someone in your area will need them and it will be a good deal for both parties.
I agree with finding someone who needs them and selling them. Maybe at the current exchange rate..it's a good deal for you, and a good deal for the buyer since the exchange will only get worse.
My mom went to England last summer and we bought her leftover pounds at the rate of 1 pound=$1.80, which turned out to be a great deal! it's over $2 now! (we leave this week) It worked out well, she got rid of her unwanted money and we got a good rate!
I live in the Columbus area and the only option I could find was the airport. The banks wouldn't take them back unless I bought the currency from them.
How much do you have left. For amounts under $100 I reccomend just keeping it until your next trip. It isn't that much, the money is already spent. On your next trip you won't have to worry about arriving in Europe without Euros.
I mean I assume you are going again right.
No, I am not headed back and would like the cash back especially since they are worth more here.
Thanks for all the input!
Even if you win a free flight?
Was your experience that bad Jennifer?
We're here if you need to share.
darn, if you were in the Dallas / Fort Worth area I'd love to buy them from you. I need to get a significant amount of Euros before we go, and the way the currency rates are going I'd like to do it as soon as possible.
