"Europe's Skies" - What kids are listening to

Just for fun on a Friday. My teen daughter shared these music videos with me. Apparently all the girls at the international school here in Vienna are gaga over this guy. I approve. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4D_hguWPQE and, as advertised, "Europe's skies": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daqfr6DJsGc&NR=1&feature=endscreen Any fun European videos that you'd like to share?

Isn't this the Norwegian who won Eurovision a couple of years ago? (I'm a big Eurovision fan ... wish they would broadcast it in the States)

Thomas - thanks for the info. I'm sending the link to my 13 year old niece - she stopped playing the violin this year because it's not "cool".

"Isn't this the Norwegian who won Eurovision a couple of years ago?" You're right, that is him. Interesting, most Eurovision winners fade into obscurity after a few years. Looks like there's life after Eurovision for some besides ABBA. The Belgian production Studio 100 seems to specialize in particularly catchy jingles aimed at a pre-teen audience. A few of these songs (like the Kabouterdans) caught on with adults in the sort of situations that involve copious alcohol consumption (apres ski, weddings, soccer games, etc). I like that Europe's Skies song and video. Catchy, upbeat. We need upbeat. I could see it doing well in this year's Eurovision...
