Quick Question: Travel sized soap holder

I am looking for a soap holder for travel sized soap! All I ever see in stores are soap dishes that are for big bars of soap. I don't need a big bar of soap so I'd like to find a small case for small travel sized soaps.

Look around in tool department of home improvement stores, in the area for storage of screws, nails, etc.

I had to buy a medium box with a bunch of little ones in it, but used them up for other stuff too.

If you use Clinique products, they sell 3 small bars of facial soap in a box. The box includes a travel size case for soap. You might check the Container Store for a small contianer for soap.

I no longer carry plastic soap holders. Unnecessary weight and bulk for one-bag traveling. Doesn't work well anyway-- all it does is isolate your wet soap from everything else, but the plastic soap box just keeps the soap mushy. It's an unnecessary expense.

I use a wax paper bag. (Buy a box at grocery store or use one that you get your stamps in at the post office). The wax paper keeps the soap from getting all over everything in your toiletry kit, it doesn't stick to the soap like paper, and best of all it allows the soap to dry out. No slime, less wasted soap. Give it a try-- you will like it lot better.

I use one of the plastic Q-tip cases you can find in the travel sized items in drug stores. They are just the right size for travel size bars of soap.

I use a plastic baggie, I travel light. I also find it easy to tuck a few extra in the suitcase in case the one gets too slimy etc.

Wrap it up inside of your washcloth. Stays dry, not slimy, the washcloth is ready to go, and since they seem to be in short supply here in many countries, you might want one. Maybe have a baggie to put it the whole package in.

Or you could drop the bar of soap thing and just use shower gel.

the smallest size ziplock bag... I save the last slivers of soap through the year and travel with those. You just can't have too many ziplocks. They're good for all sorts of things.

Since we are usually traveling for 5-8 weeks. I save travel soap from hotels and use a shower cap to hold the used ones.
