Question about Passport pages for multiple countries.

My husband and I and our daughter are leaving for Europe on March 30th for 2 and a 1/2 months. We start in
Turkey, (needs one passport page)
then Czech Republic, (2 passport pages)
then France (one passport page)
then Spain, (one passport page)
then Morocco, (one passport page)
then Italy, (2 passport pages)
then Greece and (1 passport page)
finally back to Turkey for one day to fly home. Will they need to stamp another passport page when we reenter turkey if it is within the 90 days of our visa?)
When I was double checking about travel documents I started to get nervous about whether I had enough pages in our passports for all these countries. It turns out my daughter and I have enough pages but my husband has only 9 pages left in his passport. If Turkey has to restamp his passport a second time then he will need 10 pages instead of 9. If they do not have to stamp a new page then he has enough passport pages with his 9 empty pages at this time. Does anyone know if he needs to get a new passport with more pages? Thank you.

Which country issued your passports?

Why do you need stamps from each Schengen country? And why so many pages?

Are you affixing visas for each country for a long stay?

Agree with Nigel. Where are you getting these page counts? Or why do you think you need a page for each stamp? I have four and five different stamps on each page. If a US citizen you are going to get one stamp going into the Schengen zone and one stamp exit.

Let me see if I can answer your questions. First let me say this is our first time visiting Europe so I am not sure how things work. Where were your passports issued.? Our passports were issued in the U.S.
Why do you need stamps from each Schengen country? I am not sure what you mean by 'Schengen" country. I just looked up Schengen countries and now I wonder if I need a Schengen visa?

And why so many pages? When I was just looking on the U.S. embassy pages for each of the countries we are visiting I noticed that the U.S. gov. site specified you need one passport page for most of the countries and 2 passport pages in Italy and Czech Republic.

Are you affixing visas for each country for a long stay? Most of the countries we are only in for 1 week except for Italy and France are 2 weeks. I am not sure if they affix visas or not. Thank you for your help.

Passport stamps do not take up a full page. Visas can (my Chinese visa takes up a full page) but you don't need visas for any of the countries you are visiting, assuming you are a US citizen.
Passport entry stamps are quite small. You can fit several countries on a single page. You won't need any additional pages. My passport has 18 entry stamps in it + 1 visa and I still have 8 pages left!
You may be confusing a visa with a passport entry stamp. A visa is only issued for countries that don't have agreements with our government allowing free entry into a given country. China and India would be examples of this...you must obtain a visa and have it affixed to your passport well in advance of travel.
A passport stamp is what you get when you enter a country that does have an agreement with our government allowing free entry. All of the countries you are visiting only require a passport stamp upon entry.

And, that is only one stamp when you enter the Schengen zone, and one when you exit. so you would get one stamp entering Czech Republic, and another exiting Spain to Morocco, one stamp entering Italy, and one stamp exiting Greece to Turkey. So that is 4 stamps equal to one page. Don't know what stamps are needed for Turkey or Morocco.

You need a visa for Turkey. You can buy it for 20 US$ (unless they have risen the price) at the airport in Turkey and you don't need a full page. I needed full page only for Russian, Chinese and Nepali visa. On some pages I have up to 6 stamps and have only two empty pages left so if I had nine I would not call it only. You don't have to be nervous, you got more than enough pages and then some.

Regardless of the visa regime applied towards the citizens of a
country, the travel document holders of that country need to obtain
visa from Turkish missions beforehand.

United States of America: Ordinary and official passport holders are
required to have visa to enter Turkey. They can obtain three
month-multiple entry visas from Turkish diplomatic representations
abroad and also via the website www.evisa.gov.t

Well, progress is unstoppable. If I went to Turkey again I would have come without visa. But fortunately I would not be completely out of luck because the website above also says:
"Visitors arriving to Turkey without visas may obtain their e-Visas via interactive kiosks placed in Turkish airports."

When I visited Turkey I had a visa already in hand but saw many people buying one at a kiosk. There were also agents issuing visas at that time.

While Russia does not apply to your upcoming trip , the Russian Visa does require two pages - one for the actual visa and an adjoining one for entry and exit stamps . I post this for informational purposes .

We were disappointed by how few places stamped our passports.
