Quarantine? Alllowed to Travel?

We've all witnessed the new quarantine rules. We also see that travel between some countries isn't allowed--especially with this new strain of the virus. But that leads me to a real concern....

What about Santa? Is he "immune" to all of this or will he be forced to adhere like the rest of us?

At least he's wearing a mask:

But he can’t eat milk and cookies inside, right? He’s probably always done take-out all this time, and his sleigh is littered with crumbs the next day.

And from the beginning, it was said that beards kept masks from providing complete protection, but Santa can make good things happen, so he’s probably covered there, too. He’ll be extra busy tonight - good posting, Frank II !

He needs to shave his beard off so his mask will fit properly.

I've been tracking Santa--on the Norad Santa site--since just before he took off from the North Pole. So far, no problems. Norad is confirming via visual contact that Santa is wearing a mask. And so are the reindeer. Sadly, Rudolph's nose is not covered but Santa needs the bright nose to see his way.

If you don't believe me, go to the noradsanta.org site and zoom in on Santa and his sleigh on the tracker.

Dr. Fauci said he personally vaccinated Santa and Santa is safe to make his Christmas Eve visits.

Since Santa is "immune" hopefully he hasn't added any Covid-19 weight gain- could be a tight squeeze through the chimney! Happy, healthy holidays all.

Don't think Reindeer are susceptible. If it were Rudolf the red nose mink, that would be another story

I think it was worked out that Santa needs to cover about 75 million miles in 31 hours at an average speed of about 650 miles a second - so the heat generated by air friction is likely to be more than enough to kill the virus.

You know, Santa probably needs at least 2 weeks of rest to recover from his hard work, so he’s likely been quarantining every year for a long time. Nothing different there. But Dr. Fauci will need to make another trip to the North Pole to administer the second shot. So some people are still traveling, but undoubtedly taking very careful precautions.

OK, what’s the deal? The NORAD animation of Santa’s sleigh and hitch is being beamed on TV, but he’s not making any stops!?! Is he allowed to travel, but not to land? Since when is he doing a non-stop flight? Or is NORAD missing something?

I’d consider heading south, to Cheyenne Mountain, to check it out myself, but I might not have clearance to get in. And I think their phone number isn’t being listed in newspapers anymore. . . or do they accept texts?

Santa and the Elves equipped the all the presents with a kit inspired by the JDAM the USAF uses. Its a CDDS

Cyn, his stops are so fast that the radar doesn't register them.

My friend's kids put out one homemade cookie (so he wouldn't get too fat, I guess) and some carrot sticks for the reindeer.

I always thought that that red nose was on account of him "helping" Santa out with all the drinkies left out....
