Quaint hotel or B&B in Central London

Looking for a cute quaint little place such as a B&B with really no frills but clean in central London. (close to Piccidilly Circus, Buckingham palace, etc. within walking distance to most) I have searched on line, and there are so many hotels to choose from. My idea would be a single cottage for rent . Anything cute and quaint will do....Price range is under $150 usd./per night I only need it for three days the end of may Thanks

A single cottage? In central London? I'm having trouble with that. What actually do you mean?

The two places I've stayed before are both small hotels, so I'll direct you to tripadvisor.com Click on the B&B link...something like 400+ listed there.

@Norma, I'm reading this and thinking is she assuming London is a village. Cute and quaint cottages are found S. Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire a la Midsomer Murders. Might take a gander at the airbnb website. You can put in your price and peruse what's available? You'll have to check availability at this late date but the Bay Tree HOuse Bed and Breakfast meets your criteria.

Gina, I just returned from London and we stayed at the Vicarage Hotel which was a 5 minute walk from the High Stree Kensignton metro stop. Not as central and you would like, but you can be very central with a 5 minutes tube ride. The place was charming, clean, friendly and the full English breakfast kept us so filled we usually skipped lunch.

Gina, I liked the Vicarage Hotel, located near the Notting Hill Gate tube station.
