Provence in Late March

My family of five adults is planning to do an 8 day trip to Provence:Marseille-Aix-en-Provence-Arles-Avignon-Nimes on the 3rd week of March 2008. Just wondering what would the typical weather be and any worthwhile activities? Please help

We spent 10 days in Provence (Cannes, Nice primarily) in late March 2006. The weather was beautiful -- not too hot or cold. Light sweater might be needed in evenings and on double-decker sightseeing buses. We enjoyed Nice's many museums, old town, promenade, etc. Day trips were great too: the Fragonard perfumery in Grasse, Monaco (the touristy "little" train was especially fun), Ville Franche sur Mer was lovely (eat at Le Nautic). NOTE: The beaches vary from town to town. Some have sand but most are rocky, stony, pebbly. Take water shoes or sandals or you may have sore feet.

Thank you for your info. Hopefully, the weather's going to be great as when you were there.
