We'll be in Monte Carlo for a day off of a cruise in June, and wondered if there were any tours available to Provence for the day. There are several that began in Nice, but I can't seem to find any from Monte Carlo.
When searching for tours did you try Monaco, as Monte Carlo is part of Monaco? You could hop the train, bus or a cab to Nice, about 20 min. or less by train from Monaco/Monte Carlo.
This may be the first question we've had here about doing a day trip of "Provence" (a big area) from Monaco. Technically, I guess it could be done, and I've been surprised before at some of the whirlwind bus tours people have managed to find and are willing to pay for covering large distances. But if you don't get any answers here, it may be because no one here has tried it.Honestly, it seems like a really long way to go for a few hours somewhere in Provence. If you finally decide not to try this, an alternative to consider would be a day trip to destinations in the French Riviera, such as Nice, Villefranche, Antibes, etc. Finally, it would help us here, keep the Helpline efficient, if you could take 10 seconds and delete your duplicate question. Thank you.
