Private Message Spam

Opening it won't do anything negative, it only opens the RS interface to view the PM. I had to open the message just to report it to the Webmaster - there's no other way to do it.

Just don't click on his private e-mail link.

Opening a message over the forum's PM system is always safe--we don't allow files to be attached to PMs for this reason. But I would definitely never click on a link from an unknown sender.

And thanks to those who have reported this spam. We're working to enact guidelines on the technical side of the forum system to make sure this type of spam is kept to an absolute minimum if it even gets through at all.

Tried to open the PM so it could be deleted. Got nothing but a blank white screen. Maybe some of our "defensive" software prevents it from coming through. ??? Would really like to get it out of my PM mail box. Any suggestions?

Hi TC -- The blank white screen just means you've received a message from a banned user. I've gone in and deleted the message, so it shouldn't be showing up in your inbox anymore.
