Prague, Paris and Rome this August

Planning a 2+ week trip from US to Prague, Paris and Rome this August.
Basic idea is to

  • book flight from Washington D.C. to Prague, and Rome to DC
  • book separate, budget flights from city to city
  • spend 5-6 days in each city, plus do day trips by train/car rental
  • stay in airbnb's

Sounds like a reasonable plan?

Fly into Prague then go to Rome and then out of Paris or vice versa seems like a more efficient order

hey paul
read up on the issues of airbnb's in paris and maybe other cities. look for registrations numbers to make sure they are legal apartments. before booking and paying a deposit ask the forum. you don't want to be out of deposit or all money, email saying not available days before your arrival or no apartment at all. how many people traveling and look at hotels with "family room", budget in euros, what area?

Another quick follow up question - when should I aim to book everything (flights to/from Europe , lodging, flights from city to city) ASAP? Or do I have a few weeks? Our dates are approx Aug 3 - Ag 18.
