We are planning on arrriving in Portsmouth on the 6:30 am ferry in October and want to see Stonehenge before going to London? Has anyone made this trip that might have sugeestions on how to get there?
We looked at using a train to Stonehenge and then to London but was concered with what to do with our lugguage, since we will have to use the bus system as well?
Can we store our lugguage at the train station?

I don't know what they charge, but you might want to contact Aqua Cars http://www.aquacars.co.uk/index.php in Portsmouth. We used them to get from Heathrow to Portsmouth and they were very reasonably priced, considering the distance.
You should get a rental car in Portsmouth.
Portsmouth to Salisbury which is the nearest station to Stonehenge is nearly 10 o'clock left turn from Portsmouth.
It is about 15 minutes drive, 10.0 miles by road, from Salisbury, which has a magnificent cathedral.
Maybe a taxi?
BTW, there are no lockers or left luggage facilities at Salisbury.
