The Webmaster has asked us not to engage with posts that are against the forums guidelines. We have been asked to report the offending post and move on.
The recent offensive post has been reported by several posters. The Webmaster will delete it on Monday.
Every time someone adds a comment to the post, it keeps the post active. Please give the Webmaster a chance to do their job.

Some times it is really hard to not give a post the thrashing it so richly deserves, even knowing it will soon be gone.
In a way it demonstrates this community's abhorrence of 'trash'
Calling an internet lowlife a “Troll” is an insult to those mythical beings in Norway.
Please give the Webmaster a chance to do their job.
I agree, except that it's the weekend so they're not usually on duty.

Even knowing that's exactly what they want? That's why they're called Trolls (my apologies to the Norwegian variety).

If no one has responded, it's okay to let others know you reported it. Everyone else should just move on. More responding just gives the violator what he wants.
Sometimes it's hard not to. But it's best to leave it be and move on.
What the webmaster has actually said several times is that there is no need to respond at all to say that it has been reported, he doesn't mind having multiple reports.
Many times I just do that, use the report button and say nothing. Just responding once to say it has been reported is engagement, and sometimes leads to further issues, if the "troll" then responds and says "I'm not a troll" or words to that effect, as it can then degenerate into a "yes you are, no I'm not" scenario.
As my mom says when a toddler is having a tantrum - no audience, no show.
The troll just wants a show. Do not give it to them.
