What's the current recommended amount for daily spending in Italy? Meals, lodging, basic gelato and coffee money? Tours? Local transportation? I want to plan something for spring of 2014, but, if I have amounts from now and compare them to last trip in 2011, well, I think I can manage.

Melody The best person to know how much you and your party will likely spend is - - you. If you took your last trip last year the odds are that this year it would be pretty similar to what you spent then unless you spend more than you did then, or unless you spend less than you did. Two more years from now - nobody knows.
