Best what ????? Cturtle you have been around here long enough to know this question is not going to get much response.

One that meets your interests, is affordable to you, and has enough water under the boat to keep you afloat but not so much that you can't get under bridges.

Sorry, posted last night at 3am. Insomnia.... thought I would go to my happy place and plan a trip for after this is all over! We would want one that was "local" rather than the big company ones if there is such a thing. Lots of stops, from any city to any city on the Rhine for approximately a week. Is this better?

You've got lots of time to research and plan. Start by checking the websites, itineraries and reviews on Trip Advisor, Cruise Critic or whatever. Once everyone gets back to normal, you might also find it helpful to have a chat with a travel agent.
