Having planned hundreds of Golden Triangle
itineraries since 2013, here's what I'd
suggest:
The most common mistake is not leaving
enough time. Here's the sweet spot:
Day 1-2: Delhi — Old Delhi in the morning
(Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk
rickshaw), New Delhi afternoon (India Gate,
Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar).
Day 3: Drive to Agra (3-4 hours). Check in,
rest, sunset at Mehtab Bagh for views of
the Taj across the river.
Day 4: Taj Mahal at sunrise — this is
non-negotiable. Then Agra Fort. Drive to
Jaipur (4-5 hours).
Day 5: Amber Fort early morning before
crowds. City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar
Mantar. Evening at the bazaars.
Day 6: Drive back to Delhi.
On the driver vs guide question — in India
these are separate roles. Your driver handles
all transport; local guides (hired at each
monument) explain the history. We always
recommend booking both separately for the
best experience.

I got this from a website, Let me know if anyone travelled there and can give me information if this is good plan?
