Any concerns about using PayPal to make a deposit to hold a room? Do you know the costs? I have a Wells Fargo credit card and also a Capital One which I only use for travel. Should I use the Capital One with PayPal and should it cost less than using my Wells Fargo?

I'm sure to be corrected, but from personal experience there's a 2.5% conversion fee right off the top. To send money from an existing PayPal balance or bank account tied to your PayPal is free. To utilize a debit or credit card there's a 2.9% fee which drops to 2.5% if the amount is over $3,000. Things may have changed since I used my PayPal for overseas travel payments a couple of months ago.
