passport stamping in EU

Hello, I have an indian passport and temporary residence permit of a EU country. Which EU countries does not stamp passport on entry and exit?

all of them and none of them - depends on where you're going to, coming from.

Well, I would point out that most arrival formalities in Europe have lines for "EU Passports" and for "All Other Countries". That suggests that you will be in a line for a human Immigration agent who will question you. That is an opportunity to show the visa and ask for an entry stamp. Or are you trying to avoid a stamp? That's not so likely.

It entirely depends on which country you have the residents permit for.

If your permit is for a country or state in the CTA, then you will be required to follow the normal procedure for entering the Schengen Area, so expect your passport to be stamped.

If how every you hold a resident's permit for a Schengen member then you will be treated as any other resident, just show your permit in addition to your passport, if asked, your passport will not be stamped.
