Hello!
My wife and I are attending a wedding in Vienna on Oct 10, and we thought we'd fly into Paris, spend some time there, and take a train to Vienna with a stop in Switzerland.
I know it's a long train ride, but we don't mind and we love Switzerland so thought it would be a great stop! However, we'd be open to anywhere along the way that may be a fun midpoint. Open to all suggestions and advice!

Land in Milan >> Lake Como >> Bernina Express to St Moritz >> continue on to Chur >> Chur to Innsbruck >> Direct train here to Vienna

You didnt say how long you had for this trip. That route you just listed, great, beautiful, wonedrful even. But not less than 13 hours if you drove it. No idea on trains; maybe a few hours faster? Maybe longer? If I have 10 days, two weeks better, I would be with you. Less time? I would fly Paris to Saint Moritz and Saint Moritz to Vienna. Paris and St. Moritz a perfet combination. Vienna? Very, very okay place too.
