Kit there are a few,, and most seem fine,, I have done a few and the only one I didn't like wasn't a tour really but the Batobus,, too cramped, no where to stand outside etc. I have been on these two,,but not for a few years now,, they seemed about the same from what I recall but of course there are details I am sure I forgot. Bateaux Parisiene, Bateaux les Vedettes du Pont Neuf I am trying a dinner cruise this time,, this one is pretty well reviewed on some other travel forums I go on,, and the menus are not too expensive. La Calife. Ps//one last tip, having done the cruises both day and night, I think the nighttime ones are bit more special,,seeing the bridges and monuments lit up,, and the Eiffel Tower when it lights up( on the hour as soon as its dark) is very special.
Google it and see if it interests you at all..

FYI the Batobus is not a river tour, it is more like a hop on/hop off boat. There is no narration telling you what you are seeing. I found it an excellent way to get from one place to another without having to go underground on the metro.

There are several Seine river cruise companies. We enjoyed doing a night cruise but don't remember who conducted it. We boarded it in the area of the Eiffel Tower.

For a change of pace and route, you can also consider Canal Saint-Martin, which climbs via locks from the Seine to the Parc de la Villette in the northern part of the central city. It's a 4.5 kilometre trip, very leisurely, with close-up views of neighbourhoods which are becoming chic. One warning that gets left out of the publicity is that at least 1 kilometre, moving away from Bastille, is subterranean, an unusual experience but not exactly scenic. This company departs from the Arsenal below Bastille and it shows a worthwhile map. http://www.canauxrama.com/e_saint-martin.htm This company advertises a journey that starts on the Seine at d'Orsay before turning into the canal.

Hi Kit, Not sure if you want a dinner cruise. In 2010 we did the Bateaux Parisienne Dinner Cruise, it was somewhat spendy so I wasn't sure how it would turn out. It was a highlight of our trip! The food, boat, service, wine, everything was excellent, first class and the lights along the Seine at night were so beautiful. We will always have special memories from this cruise, it was worth every penny. We loved Paris, so beautiful!! Happy Travels to you!

We booked Gray Line Tours, here in the U.S. (Gray Line Tours.com) and they subcontracted the tours out to Cityrama in Paris. Cityrama does a great job with their Paris day tours..
