My husband, myself and 12 year old son will be travelling to Paris in May. I would like to purchase a Museum Pass. I have read that under 18 is free however we would still have to wait in line to get the child's free ticket. This seems to defeat the purpose of the Museum Pass. Any suggestions? My husband says we should just "play dumb tourist" which is not a stretch for us and just walk to the front of the line even if our child does not have a Museum Pass.
No, children enter free along with the adult passholder at whatever entrance passholders use. We did this many times last summer.
No problem.
The only possible exception that I could think of would be if a museum had an admission price for children. I suppose there might be a couple. But we went all over Paris last summer and never encountered one.
