PARIS HOTEL OR B&B

Can anyone tell me a good hotel or B&B to stay in for a 10-day trip in Paris? I am looking for something affordable around $250 per night and hopefully serves breakfast. The room will be shared with another adult.

Thanks

We stayed at the Hotel Londres Eiffel, recommended in Rick's book. Fantastic location and does serve breakfast, great neighborhood. I highly recommend it.

hi susan,
we suggest you consider apartment rental. The above is the web site of "VacationInParis" which is a USA company based in New Jersey. At the web site, you may browse the apartments available, with photos, etc. Should you have questions, call VIP in New Jersey (there's a 1-800 toll-free number at the web site). Don't be surprised if you have the key to your cool Paris apartment before you leave Chicago.
bon voyage!...

I have a friend that gets an apartment in Paris - it is much cheaper than hotels and you have a kitchen. Try www.VRBO.com.

I really enjoyed the hotel GRAND HOTEL LEVEQUE, great location, good price, it's simple clean, and just really enjoyed the place, was there a year ago, heading back in a week. Servers breakfast, and is on a great pedstrian street, with resturants and shops all around.

I adored Hotel Paris France. It was located somewhat close to the Bastille, with a metro station less than 3 minutes away from the door of the hotel and it never took me long to get anywhere I wanted to go. The line I was on was one stop off other main lines, so transferring on the metro was a breezae.
The hotel itself was quaint, clean, had my own bathroom/shower and a single was about 70 euros a night. Doubles would be cheaper as well. Here is the link to their hotel:

The staff was overwhelmingly nice and helpful, planning evening events (dinner, seine cruise and moulin rouge package) for me, as well as arranging shuttle service to the airport.

I highly recommend this hotel.
