I have used VRBO both in the US and for the apartment I rented in Paris. In February some owners would happy to have their place rented for any time period. I don't know why Steve would think you should only check them for rentals of a month or more. The apartment I rented in Paris would be too small for you, but it was in the 5th which we loved staying in. Good luck finding something and have a fantastic time!

I rented through vacationinparis.com in October. They were quite easy to deal with. They mail the keys to you before you leave and you can pay with credit card via paypal in US dollars. They have a number of apartments. Everything was just as promised. You might consider sending them a request with your preferred arrondisements and dates and see what they have available.
