Has anyone come across a bag with security features similar to the PacSafe line? Especially with regard to the "slash-proof" panels? Ideally, I'd like to find a slash-proof bag insert for a backpack I already have - PacSafe sells one but it's 19L and 100$!
Also, does anyone have any stories to tell about their own PacSafe or similar product?

I have not come across anything similar to pacsafe in terms of the slash proof pack or the hidden loop.
Eddie bauer has a mini backpack which has a safety entrance. The zipper is on the back of the pack, so you have to reach from behind to unzip it. I found it recently at the E.B outlet store in Brea, CA for $10.
I still will put my money on my person, but carry my maps and goodies in my day pack.
