I saw the earlier post on Rick Steves packing cubes vs. Eagle Creek packing cubes. The tendency of the posts were to favor the Eagle Creek cubes for shape but ability to compress if needed. What about the Ebags packing cubes? (Example at: http://www.ebags.com/ebags/packing_cubes_3pc_set/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=13032 .) Has anyone tried these? Thanks.
Since they are not that expensive - try getting a set and let us know! I didnt know they had them! Be great to compare all three - but in the end they all do the same! I know there are some other brands that are very $$ - 20-30 each vs the EC for 10-14$ - ricks are cheapest. But in the end the concept works for most.
Tom, maybe I will buy the Ebags cubes. If I do, I will post the results here.
Earlier this year, the Wall Street Journal compared many different packing cubes--RS, EC, Ebags, victionix, Lewis & Clark, and others. They chose The ones from Ebags as the best overall.
Thank you, Frank. I found the Wall Street Journal article at http://online.wsj.com/article/SB120000411790682187.html.
